Karen's Inspiration

"The inspiration for this piece of Karen Phillips Wildlife Art came from spending hours watching this lovely ellie practising using her trunk. Her mother was nearby and was passing on some tips on how to manage the trunk.

Interestingly, elephants are not born knowing how to use their trunk. They must spend time learning from the others in the group and practising themselves. I wanted to capture the expression on this baby's face and the excitement when she mastered her trunk - pure happiness! " Karen Phillips
